| Introduction | Paraphrase + nói rõ sẽ trả lời cả hai vế. |
| Body 1 (Vế 1: lý do tăng) | Lý do 1: nhựa quá rẻ và tiện, giá không tính chi phí xử lý · Lý do 2: thương mại điện tử và đồ ăn giao tận nơi tăng vọt; niềm tin 'cứ bỏ vào thùng tái chế là xong' khiến người mua yên tâm tiêu thụ tiếp. |
| Body 2 (Vế 2: giải pháp) | Nhà nước: thuế/cấm loại khó tái chế, bắt buộc EPR, chuẩn thiết kế dễ tái chế · Nhà sản xuất: giảm bao bì, dùng vật liệu đơn lớp, xây hệ bao bì trả lại — đổi mô hình kinh doanh chứ không chỉ đổi khẩu hiệu. |
| Conclusion | Chốt: nhựa tăng vì rẻ và tiện với người bán; chỉ khi chi phí thật được tính vào giá thì hành vi mới đổi. |
Although the environmental damage caused by plastic is widely understood, the volume of single-use packaging continues to grow. The reasons are largely economic, and so are the remedies.
The first reason is that plastic remains extraordinarily cheap and convenient. It is light, waterproof and protects food for longer, and crucially its price excludes the cost of disposal, which is paid by councils and ecosystems rather than by the producer. Secondly, the way people shop has changed. Online retail and food delivery have expanded enormously, and each parcel or meal arrives wrapped for transport, often several layers deep. Public belief in recycling also plays a part: consumers assume that whatever they place in the correct bin will be reprocessed, whereas in reality much mixed plastic is technically unrecyclable and is burned or exported, so guilt is removed without the problem being solved.
Governments hold the strongest tools. Taxing or banning the least recyclable formats, and imposing extended producer responsibility so that manufacturers pay the full cost of collecting their own packaging, changes the commercial calculation immediately; design standards requiring single-material packaging make recycling viable in practice. Manufacturers, for their part, should compete on using less rather than on advertising claims, replacing multi-layer wrappers with mono-material alternatives and investing in refill and return systems, which several supermarket chains are already trialling successfully.
In conclusion, plastic packaging keeps increasing because it is cheap for sellers and its true cost falls elsewhere. Once regulation makes producers bear that cost, reduction and reuse become the profitable option rather than a sacrifice.
